What if you are the offering?
what living in your devotion does for you & your magick
In a yoga class I took recently, the instructor’s words opened something up in me. In it, he shared that it’s not always about what our practice offers to us—but what we can offer to the practice. I’ve been thinking about it since. Obviously, he was referring to the mat, and the class that was about to unfold, but I find that it’s relevant for more than one thing.
That actually, it’s everything, when it comes to living in your devotion.
Daily spiritual practices require a boundaried commitment to prioritizing yourSelf and your energetic wellbeing. For many magickal folks, especially people pleasers, high achievers in the material realm, and those of us going through massive life changes, these practices are what fall away first when life gets more challenging.
So, if you’ve feeling a lack of motivation for ritual work and staying in devotion to your practices with the current state of *gestures at everything*
1.) know you’re not alone; that was my reality once too
and 2.) if you’re nodding along as fervently as you do when the song you’re currently hyperfixating on starts playing1, repeat after me:
“Every day I lean into my magick more and every day it grows stronger. I ask for my spiritual and artistic practices to lend support when I need it most. I offer myself as I am right now and trust that it is enough.”
Remember you don’t always have to be doing the complex 16-step rituals to show up. Spend a few minutes at your altar tidying up. Cry. Offer a short meditation to your guides. Do a channeled writing exercise. We need our practices MOST during trying times.
Don’t neglect yourself and your spiritual and creative wellbeing because you have less capacity at this time; adjust instead.
Come back to your practice. Come back to your (he)art.
The thing is: Your magick grows when you practice it. When you devote yourSelf to it, well… you become more powerful than ever before.
Many of us are experiencing massive transitions in our lives at the moment. We’re feeling the pressure to embark on something new, or the push to finally do that thing we’ve been dreaming of, or else receiving downloads of new desires “out of nowhere”.
(Well, they aren’t new to your Soul, but they’ve just popped into your 3D reality by way of a new training, creative project, collaboration, or possibility…)
Whatever it is, if you’re feeling called toward something new, it’s likely you’ll have to let go of something else for this More Aligned Thing to take its place.
Saying no to something that isn’t actually aligned—even if it theoretically should be—makes more space for a full-bodied yes.
It can be scary to say no… but in my experience, it’s never been the shedding of what no longer fits that is the scary thing.
It’s not the burning of the bridge that is the real moment of Truth, but what comes after.
You’re not building a kingdom of ash. Fire often results in more sacred soil.
A few months ago, dear friend Aryn the Alchemist shared the following with me—I was relaying my obsession with the volcanoes here in Bali, and they reminded me that volcanic soil post-eruption is often so much more fertile.
Leaving the toxic job or partnership, the friend group, city that no longer lights you up… will feel like a gods damn breath of relief after being trapped and miserable for so long. But you don’t know what comes next, and that steals your breath and fills you with dread.
The liminal space: You don’t know how long you will linger there.
The most supportive thing we can do for ourSelves when we’re in potent liminal spaces, then, is to devote ourSelves to the practices that hold us.
Working in powerful ceremonial processes with plant medicine allies over the past few years has shown me that, too. In a ceremony with Rose medicine, I saw mySelf deep within the bowels of my own inner volcano.
I shot upward, buffeted on the winds of momentum with a special Pegasus guide I work with regularly, broke through the “lid” of the volcano, and kept traveling upwards, an astronaut of the astral carried up and Up into the night sky.
That was the moment I knew I’d successfully transmute what I call the energetic boomerang. What remained was to hold the frequency of that earth-shattering internal shift until it reflected back to me in my physical reality.
Be with your volcano, so that its fertile soil can later feed you.

When I stopped viewing my sacred practices as requiring discipline, and instead took up the mantle of devotion, it changed everything.
It’s what helped me form a devotional lovership with the Voidspace—that fertile space in between the life I burned to the ground, and the new one I held the frequency of for years before I noticed plentiful seeds sprouting in my 3D reality.
Listen, it’s not that discipline isn’t needed, sometimes. But most women and feminine presenting folks are burnt out on the patriarchal connotations of discipline. They are tired. Emotionally exhausted.
Devotion, on the other hand, is moving in love and divinity and Sovereignty. It’s aligning with the spiritual and magickal practices that pour back into you. When you do this, your entire life becomes a ceremony.
You realize that you are the offering. The altar. The spell.
Every day, you live the enchantment. The ritual is you, opening up to more magick again and again and again.
YOU ARE THE OFFERING.
Devotion to your magick is devotion to yourSelf.
Deepening into a stronger relationship with your creative praxis, your magickal practice, your loving spirits and deities, and the spirits of the earth and land… This is how we can build energetic scaffolding.
Building energetic scaffolding is what holds us when we move through the Void. It happens with resiliency, devotion, and sometimes discipline, too, all together.2 Even, and especially, when your relationship with the divine tightens, shifts, can feel like it’s buckling.
That’s where I come in—to guide you across the threshold and into your new reality, and to help you build your own energetic scaffolding, so that you feel the strength of your spiritual “safety net” when you make your trust fall into the Void. So that you’re inspired to return to your altar, your mat, your practices, your craft.
Choose you. Choose your magick, art, and the new life you’ve been dreaming of. I’ll help you do just that in KALEIDOSCOPE LORE, the 3- to 6-month mentorship where you go from experiencing overwhelm and lack of clarity to alignment, empowerment, and momentum… WITHOUT spiritually spinning your wheels in a hamster wheel of healing that holds no real impact.
You’ll learn how to:
deepen your connection with your Higher Self, spirit team, guides, benevolent ancestors, and more
strengthen your creative and intuitive gifts
cleanse and protect your energy
clear out and heal deeply engrained storylines and energetic imprints of trauma from this lifetime and others, as well as ancestral/generational karma
build momentum to move through your own energetic boomerang
& anchor into Energetic Sovereignty
Who it’s for:
I work with magickal creatives, artists, witches, and healers in the making.
Those who didn’t fear burning the bridge either, but still have some cords linking them to old habits, patterns, or people from their old realities that they’re now ready to release.
The ones who are ready to make big life decisions, creative shifts, and career changes. Who can FEEL so deeply that the time to play small is over, that the new worlds they’re meant to build with their visions are waiting.
If you’ve done “The Work”, gone to the healing circles, journaled and scripted on the things you want to manifest until your hand is cramping, and STILL feel unsure, but know you’re ready to show up bigger for your calling, this is for you.
Feed your volcano, so that its soil can feed you back.
Join the waitlist for a mentorship with me. Come on into my DMs to do that or ask any questions you might have, they’re nice and cozy!
Dancing can be sacred practice and offering, too. My current hyperfixation? Ordinary Love, from the new Elder Island album.
My own personal marriage of the masculine and feminine energies that are at play within each of us.
